  28. You did not specify how you are trying to use the modem.  Is it with 
  29. Kermit's DIAL command, or is it by CONNECTing to the modem and typing AT
  30. commands directly at it?  In the latter case, you will need to tell
  31. Kermit to "set carrier off" before CONNECTing -- as documented in the
  32. manual, "Using C-Kermit".

  44. By the way, C-Kermit does not presently have the Motorola Lifestyle as a
  45. built-in modem type.  If you could supply me with the command summary, I can
  46. add it, so the DIAL command will work as you would want it to.  Please
  47. contact me directly if you can furnish this info.

  49. Note to everybody: The more modem manuals (or command summaries) I have,
  50. the more modems Kermit will support.

  54. C-Kermit supports any speeds that are supported by the underlying operating
  55. system.  The last time I looked at an Ultrix system, its speeds only went
  56. up to 38400.  Perhaps in Ultrix 4.5 they go higher.  I would need to see
  57. the relevant header file that defines symbols for the supported speeds.

  59. By the way, high speeds also require RTS/CTS flow control, but the last time
  60. I looked at Ultrix, it did not support this.  Has this changed in version 4.5?
